Borna Snakehead

A ridiculously rare photo of a captive specimen in a Zoo in China. Apparently, the only captive specimen in the world.

The Borna Snakehead (Channa amphibeus) is an extremely rare, extremely endangered, freshwater Snakehead from the Channidae family. It only lives in the Chel River, Pakistan. Though Snakehead are generally dangerous, like the Giant Snakehead, this species is completely harmless.
